Crick-Crack, EkNawa Kahani is a 25-min. animated action-adventure film based upon narratives of both Afro-Trinidadian and Indo-Trinidadian folk characters and spirits. The purpose of this animated feature film is to reclaim the rich cultural heritage of "Sweet T & T's" folk heritage as it traces the adventures of one man through his encounters with Indo and Afro-Trinidadian folk characters.
The film draws its inspiration from popular folklore characters such as the soucouyant (female vampire), the La Diablesse (the devil's bride), Papa Bois (father of the woods), Mama De L'Eau (mother of the water), a Raakas (deformed demonic baby) and Dee Baba (protector of the land).
